Using the zip or rar file
1.Download rec2.dll 2.16.0.46
2.Extract rec2.dll 2.16.0.46 from .zip. We recommend that you extract rec2.dll 2.16.0.46 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting rec2.dll 2.16.0.46.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract rec2.dll 2.16.0.46 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place rec2.dll 2.16.0.46 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 rec2.dll 2.16.0.46 and press Enter.
