Using the zip or rar file 1.Download umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1
2.Extract umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1 from .zip. We recommend that you extract umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 umaxscan.dll 5.0.2434.1 and press Enter.
