Using the zip or rar file
1.Download umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0
2.Extract umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 umaxu40.dll 5.1.3505.0 and press Enter.
