Using the zip or rar file
1.Download wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180
2.Extract wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180 from .zip. We recommend that you extract wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 wbemcntl.dll 5.1.2600.2180 and press Enter.
