Using the zip or rar file
1.Download wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0
2.Extract wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 wmi2xml.dll 5.1.2600.0 and press Enter.
