Using the zip or rar file
1.Download wmpcd.dll
2.Extract wmpcd.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract wmpcd.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting wmpcd.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract wmpcd.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place wmpcd.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 wmpcd.dll and press Enter.
