Using the zip or rar file
1.Download comtool.dll
2.Extract comtool.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract comtool.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting comtool.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract comtool.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place comtool.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 comtool.dll and press Enter.
