Using the zip or rar file
1.Download CBS.dll 8.0.1227
2.Extract CBS.dll 8.0.1227 from .zip. We recommend that you extract CBS.dll 8.0.1227 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting CBS.dll 8.0.1227.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract CBS.dll 8.0.1227 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place CBS.dll 8.0.1227 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 CBS.dll 8.0.1227 and press Enter.
