Using the zip or rar file
1.Download NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll
2.Extract NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 NV40BIOSHwUnitsMaskEliminator.dll and press Enter.
