Using the zip or rar file
1.Download nv3.vxd
2.Extract nv3.vxd from .zip. We recommend that you extract nv3.vxd to the installation directory of the program that is requesting nv3.vxd.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract nv3.vxd to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place nv3.vxd in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 nv3.vxd and press Enter.
