Using the zip or rar file
1.Download powercfg.dll 4.00.1111
2.Extract powercfg.dll 4.00.1111 from .zip. We recommend that you extract powercfg.dll 4.00.1111 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting powercfg.dll 4.00.1111.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract powercfg.dll 4.00.1111 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place powercfg.dll 4.00.1111 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 powercfg.dll 4.00.1111 and press Enter.
