Using the zip or rar file
1.Download smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0
2.Extract smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 smb3w.dll 5.1.3505.0 and press Enter.
