Using the zip or rar file
1.Download swdir.dll 8.0.0.196
2.Extract swdir.dll 8.0.0.196 from .zip. We recommend that you extract swdir.dll 8.0.0.196 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting swdir.dll 8.0.0.196.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract swdir.dll 8.0.0.196 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place swdir.dll 8.0.0.196 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 swdir.dll 8.0.0.196 and press Enter.
