Using the zip or rar file
1.Download cmc.dll 4.0
2.Extract cmc.dll 4.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract cmc.dll 4.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting cmc.dll 4.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract cmc.dll 4.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place cmc.dll 4.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 cmc.dll 4.0 and press Enter.
