Using the zip or rar file
1.Download vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll
2.Extract vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 vmxnet3ndis5ver.dll and press Enter.
